Turnkey solar-and-storage in South Africa requires layered compliance:

Electrical installation: Only a registered Electrical Contractor (Department of Employment and Labour) may execute the installation. A registered Installation Electrician (IE) or Master Installation Electrician (MIE) must certify PV installations and issue the Certificate of Compliance (COC) to SANS 10142-1/-2.

PV GreenCard: Voluntary industry accreditation, but frequently required by insurers and lenders for warranty and risk acceptance.

Equipment: NRCS Letter of Authority (VC 8055) on imported/sold equipment. Tier-1 hardware with bankable warranties.

Professional engineering: ECSA-registered Professional Engineer sign-off on structural and electrical design for utility-scale and high-risk sites.

Site registration: SSEG registration with the distributor where applicable.

Masibambane coordinates every discipline under one accountable development path — nothing falls between contractors.
